What to expect
Imagine floating silently over the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss Alps. The panorama stretches from snow-capped peaks to lush green valleys. Flying in Switzerland is more than just an adventure – it is a moment of pure magic that you will remember for a long time to come.
We’ll help you make your next flying vacation the best one yet.
Where we fly:
- Central Switzerland (Pilatus, Rigi – the queen of the mountains, Engelberg and many more)
- In the ballroom of the Alps, the Bernese Oberland (e.g. Grindelwald, Interlaken)
- Valais (Fiesch, Riederalp)
- Ticino (Cimetta, Mornera, Cari and others)
- Jura (Weissenstein, Stierenberg)
Your flight time is precious
Guest pilots usually lack the local knowledge and possibly also the alpine flying experience to fly safely. With skyShepherd, we have the perfect partner to provide you with the knowledge and experience.
Based on your needs, we will help you choose the best flying areas, take you to the launch site and help you plan the weather and route.
Weather conditions can vary from region to region within Switzerland. Alpine valley winds and thermals can be very different from those in the lowlands and flying areas you know well. We combine knowledge of the local conditions and culture with familiarity of the take-off, landing and flying areas.
We do everything we can to help you optimize your flight time, stay safe and enjoy Swiss culture.
