What to expect
Bassano del Grappa is a year-round flying area with around 300 flying days a year. It is undisputedly one of the paragliding meccas on the southern edge of the Alps, around 70 km north of Venice. There are several large launch sites on Monte Grappa with altitude differences of up to 1400m. One of the highlights is the flight from the Monte Grappa summit at 1650m.
While there is still snow in many places here, the snow-free mountain flanks already offer good thermals for hours of flying. Cross-country flights of up to 200 km are nothing out of the ordinary at this time of year.
On this trip, both pleasure flyers and ambitious cross-country pilots will get their money’s worth.
After flying, we round off the day with a glass of good wine and local culinary delights.

Included
- Hotel accommodation in a double room incl. breakfast in the immediate vicinity of the flight areas
- Organization and support by our tour guide
- Daily briefing on meteo and flying area
- Organization of alternative programme (any costs to be borne by participants)
Not included
- Outward and return journey (carpooling on request)
- Lunch and dinner
- Flycard (fee for flying area - 16 EUR for 4 days)
- Shuttles to the launch site
- Cancellation insurance and insurance to cover repatriation costs in the event of accident or illness
- Travel insurance and accident insurance for paragliding is the responsibility of the participants
