We teach you everything you need to know about flying with a passenger and give you valuable tips for safe and enjoyable tandem flights. Our experienced flight instructors, who actively fly tandem themselves, share their extensive knowledge and practice with you.

Tandem 1 training
CHF 890.-

Prerequisites
Before the Solo 1 exam, you must fulfill the following admission requirements:
  • Pilot’s license for at least 2 years
  • At least 200 flights since obtaining the brevet
  • XC flight with a length of at least 50 kilometers
  • Safety training, no longer than 3 years ago, in which you must demonstrate that you have mastered all the maneuvers specified in the SHV directive. We hold the SHV safety trainer certificate
The training includes
  • 10 solo training flights for your Solo 1 exam
  • Instruction flight incl. tandem equipment
  • 20 tandem training flights under supervision (with own equipment and passenger)
  • valid for 4 months, from the instruction flight
If you pass the Tandem Level 1 partial test, you can fly with other (certified) pilots as a passenger.

Tandem 3 training
CHF 890.-

Requirements
To be admitted to the Tandem 3 exam, you must fulfill the following requirements in addition to the specified number of flights:
  • Theory test including passenger care section
  • have attended a passenger assistance course (at SHV)
The training includes
  • 30 tandem training flights under supervision (with own equipment)
  • valid for max. 6 months, from the first day of the course
If you pass the Tandem Level 3 test, you can fly with “everyone”, even commercially.
