Bassano del Grappa is a year-round flying area with about 300 flying days a year. It is undisputedly one of the paragliding meccas on the southern side of the Alps, about 70km north of Venice. Several large launch sites with up to 1400 m altitude difference are available on Monte Grappa. One of the highlights is the flight from Monte Grappa peak at 1650m.

While we still have snow in many places, the snow-free mountain flanks already offer good thermals for hours of flying. Cross country flights up to 200km are nothing unusual in this season.

Both fun flyers and ambitious cross-country pilots will have fun on this trip.

After flying, we end the days comfortably with a good glass of wine and the local culinary delicacies.
