Paragliding in Switzerland is a non-risk sport. We only fly with modern paragliding equipment and with tandem pilots licensed by the Swiss Paragliding & Hang Gliding Federation.

Paragliding – Passenger flights are a breath-taking experience – lose the ground under your feet and experience the world from a bird’s eye view. You don`t need to be a pilot to make your dream come true. You are just a few steps away from lifting off the ground and seeing the same scenery from new, breathtaking perspective. Our flights take place around Lake Lucerne- Lake Zug and Lauerzersee with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and in the heart of Switzerland. The landing is as easy as the start, we float against the wind, increase the angle of attack and we lift, make again two three steps and the earth has us again. Passenger flights take you away from hectic everyday life in a beautiful landscape. Now you know why birds sing, they also love flying.
Circling high over fields, trees, lakes and villages. Who knows, maybe we’ll meet our feathered friends in the air, who are obviously comfortable around us. Noiseless floating and taking advantage of nature, this is paragliding!
Weather
In order to have a longer flight time, we need like the sailplanes thermals, this arises in the spring more often and more violent than in the summer – fall and winter. In the blue sky is usually not much going on in the atmosphere or we have “Föhn” strong south wind, where we can’t fly! So do not pay attention to the weather – book on time! We decide always on the evening between 7-8 pm for the flights next day. We fly all year round, summer and winter!
Hike and Fly tandem flights
Ideal for hikers and mountaineers. This type of paragliding adventure is becoming increasingly popular and consists first of all in the hike or climb up to starting places without mountain railway access. The hike takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on the summit aimed for. Then we eat our picnic and fly back to the valley. The hiking trip can be extended according to your wishes. Prices for these flights are on request!
Cross country paragliding tandem flights
Cross country tandem flights are possible due to the further development of the gliders. Areas such as the Valais are an Eldorado for cross country paragliding flights and a rather easy take-off site for flying longer distances. But also Ticino (Southern Switzerland) has a lot to offer. Local starting points for paragliding distance flights in our area are Engelberg, Flüelen, the Fronalpstock/Stoos and the Rigi. Best flying conditions can be expected from April to the end of August depending on the prevailing weather. Appointments for cross country flights can only be agreed upon at short notice and the prices are on request!
Passenger flights with children
It is totally easy and fun to fly with kids. We have special harnesses for paragliding flights with children.

How safe is tandem paragliding?
Safety is our highest priority. We only fly with modern paragliding equipment and with tandem pilots licensed by the Swiss Paragliding & Hang Gliding Federation. You also do not need a special insurance to enjoy your flight. In Switzerland paragliding is registered as a non-risk sport and our tandem instructors’ liability insurance covers CHF 5 million. However we advice you to have an accident insurance as we are moving outside in alpine terrain.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Not at all. Elsewhere you may find cheap prices for tandem flights. Usually at the location it turns out that you have to pay additional fees for cable car, pictures, videos, etc. Finally you may end up pay more for a shorter flight. With touch and go… you have it all covered. No hidden costs.
What happens after the booking?
Call us the day before the scheduled date between 6-8 pm for weather and meeting point updates. We are also happy to take short-term bookings depending on our availability.
Do I need to have paragliding skills?
No, in order to fly as a passenger, you do not need any prior knowledge. Before the flight, there is a simple instruction how to start, fly, and land.
What do I have to bring to my tandem flight?
Good mountain/hiking shoes, or winter boots depending on the season.
Seasonal clothing.
Windproof jacket, long pants, sunglasses and gloves are recommended year-round.
Gift certificate if available.
Positive attitude.
For the cable car, don’t forget your Halbtax, Swisspass or GA if available!Is there an age limit for a paragliding tandem flight?
Nobody is too young or too old! Passengers from 3 to 92 years have already flown with us. Children and teenagers under the age of 16 need parental permission.
In what range of weight can you fly?
For passengers less than 15 kg (33 lbs) or more than 100 kg (220 lbs) we will determine whether a tandem flight is possible on the case by case basis.
How much time is needed for the tandem adventure?Section
Depending on the type of flight or location you book, we need between one and three hours to go up to the takeoff, prepare, and fly.

Can I transfer a paragliding flight booking/voucher?
The reserved flight may be transferred to another person upon request.
Can I register with a group for tandem flying?
On request, we can fly with groups of up to four people at the same time. For larger groups, depending on the number of passengers, the group will fly in several turns.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Precipitation, fog or strong wind can postpone your tandem flight. If the paragliding flight can not be carried out due to weather conditions as scheduled, we will inform you. If you cannot participate on a different day and the cancellation is made by us you do not bare any costs!
Do I need special insurance for paragliding tandem flights?
Paragliding in Switzerland is considered to be a non-risk sport, which means that the compulsory accident insurance covers the costs. If you do not have Swiss accident insurance, we offer you an accident insurance for CHF 20 for the paragliding flight. Please inform us when registering if you need an accident insurance. The tandem pilots’ liability insurance covers CHF 5,000,000.
Can I get photos or videos from my flight?
Certainly. Our pilots are equipped with a special camera stick and shoot about 15 photos and a couple of videos during the paragliding flight. The images will be uploaded directly to your smartphone. The photo and video service is included in our tandem flight prices.
How are the tandem pilots trained?
All tandem pilots are paragliding professionals and enthusiasts officially licensed by the Swiss Hang Gliding And Paragliding Association. The pilots’ many years of experience guarantee maximum safety during the whole flight.
What is not included in the price?
Shuttle costs, transport costs for trains, any other means of transport to the flying site or getting back are not included.
How long is the flight?
The exact flight time depends on your booking and the weather. We try to fly for as long as possible.
I don't have a car! Do you offer transportation?
Most of our flying sites are easily reachable by public transport. We offer a pick up service from the closest train or bus station.
Where are the flying sites?
We fly from over 10 different mountains around the Lake of Luzern. The choice of the flying site is mostly influenced by the weather.
- Zugerberg: See the city of Zug from a bird`s-eye-view! Small altitude difference but here it is very easy to start and land. Perfect spot for a nice evening thermal flight during the summer time.
- Rotenflue: Fly the Mythen! This is a great flying site with an easily accessible cable car.
- Urmiberg: nice flying spot with landing in Brunnen.
- Niederbauen: very good infrastructure, super view and often calm air.
- Pilatus: See the wild terrain of the “Dragon Mountain” and the city of Lucerne below your feet!
- Rigi: beautiful ride up to the mountain with the cogwheel train and of course amazing flight.
- Fronalpstock: It takes somewhat longer to reach the reach the takeoff but it`s definately worth it! Big mountain flying experience with breathtaking view over the lake of Lucerne. We land in Brunnen.
- Valley of Engelberg: has very good infrastructure for paragliding and offers us the best protection if there are stronger winds in the region.
- Brunni (Engelberg): one of the most favourable spots, often very good thermal flying.
- Üetliberg: See the city of Zürich under your feet! Üetliberg is clearly the closest flying site to Zürich. It works well if we have Bise (North – North East Wind). Please note that we need to take a 30 min. steep hike to reach the starting area. We only fly from Üetliberg if the wind is perfect.
