WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT
After the basic training and the first successful high altitude flights you will gain experience through further flights. Together we will get to know the weather and perfect your “ground handling”. You’ll learn how to stay airborne, center thermals, and how to react in turbulent air. Furthermore, you will learn how to descend quickly and how to land precisely and softly in a 30m diameter circle.
2x per year you can benefit from our theory lessons in weather, flight practice, aerodynamics, air law and material science.
Swiss law requires that a student pilot must perform at least 50 high altitude flights in 5 different flying areas during the training in order to obtain the paragliding certification. Our goal is to offer you more than the minimum, because we want to take care of you until you feel safe in the air and enjoy flying, so that when you receive your license you will be able to fly alone or with friends. The high altitude course offers you an unlimited number of flights within 12 months.
The high flights course is designed for student pilots who want to learn to fly in order to obtain their own paragliding license.
