On this day we will take time to look at the different aspects of safety in paragliding and during an SIV:

• technical aspects
• mental aspects
• pilot`s skillset, maneuver briefing
• general infos & rules

After the break we will take a closer look at your equipment. We will check:

• general condition of your gear
• harness settings
• functionality of your rescue system
• you will also receive the SIV equipment from us if you are participating in an upcoming SIV practical day (life vest, floater, waterproof bag)

Finally you will train all your upcoming SIV maneuvers in our simulator.

Location of the simulation day: touch and go Shop in Goldau

ATTENTION! Have you never been on an SIV with us? Prior flying on our SIV practical days it is a requirement to participate in an SIV Briefing & simulation day.

• 9:30 AM: Meeting in the touch and go shop
• General SIV briefing
• 11:00 AM: Maneuver briefing
• 12:30 Lunch break
• 13:30 Individual material check and manoeuver simulations in group of 3 pilots
• ca. 18:00 end of the day

• Tailored training to individual needs using latest training methods
• You will have access to our Training manual in German or in English
• Mental preparation
• We believe these simulations that you will do in the second half of this day are very helpful to perform the SIV maneuvers safely and more precisely. In the simulator, being very close to you, we can recognize and adjust the smallest details to eliminate possible mistakes. These preparation exercises are also very important for the human brain. We will train and repeat the correct movements to build up muscle memory so that  your performance increases during your real flights.
