What can you expect
The Soca Valley – a paragliding paradise in Slovenia surrounded by alpine mountains and mediterranean flair, which has a lot to offer for both cross-country and hobby pilots.
From Bovec to Kobarid and further to Tolmin, the Soca River with its crystal clear water meanders through the beautiful Soca Valley, which is one of the most beautiful flying areas in the Alps. Depending on the wind direction we start on Stol (1400 m) or on Kobala (1100 m). Likewise, the Liak, which is not far from the Socatal, offers a kilometer-long soaring edge. Slovenia is not only suitable for extended thermal and fun flights, but also for XC flights over 100 km.
Our goals for the camp:
- Find thermal trigger points
- Understanding valley wind systems
- Flying in Lee/Luff
- XC route planning and implementation (airspaces, weather, terrain, hotspots, lines).
In the camp you can fully concentrate on cross-country flying and cover as many kilometers as possible. Our drivers will follow the group and pick you up after landing.
