What to expect?
South Africa is a true destination for nature lovers, as it offers one of the most diverse landscapes of the entire African continent. Forests, mountains, deserts, oceans, grasslands and savannahs are just some of the landscapes that can be found here. The incredible biodiversity and the fantastic flying conditions invite us to a journey from the Swiss winter to the South African summer.
Our tour covers the 3 paragliding hotspots of South Africa including Cape Town, the Garden Route and the Porterville Valley. The combination of these three regions makes for a spectacular variety of conditions (including dynamic coastal soaring, and thermal flights over land).
We do not have a fixed itinerary. Instead, we plan our trip based on weather conditions, your skill level, and paragliding preferences.
During our non-flight time we have the opportunity to visit world famous wineries and restaurants, picnic on Table Mountain, experience Chapmans Peak Drive, visit Cape Point, tour the Penguin Reserve at Betties Bay, shop for souvenirs at the V&A Waterfront, stroll through the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, relax on our beautiful beaches or visit the Two Oceans Aquarium.
